UX Design Process
At Power Remote, I led a comprehensive design process that began with User Research & Interviews, engaging directly with stakeholders to better understand their vision. From these insights, I created a Journey Map to outline the path forward and conducted a Comparative & Competitive Analysis to benchmark Power Remote against industry peers. I then performed a Business Analysis to uncover key goals, paired with a Heuristic Evaluation to identify weaknesses in the current website. With that foundation, I moved into User Interview Prep & Surveys, gathering feedback that I organized through Affinity Mapping to highlight clear user needs and themes. This research informed the Problem Statement, along with User Scenarios, Personas, Storyboarding, and User Flows, which clarified how users would interact with the new website. From there, I wrote a Design Hypothesis and built a solid structure through Site Mapping. Once the foundation was set, I explored ideas through Sketching and Low/Medium-Fidelity Wireframes, then refined them into High-Fidelity Prototypes. Through rounds of Usability Testing and Iterative Design, I cycled through multiple design-test iterations, ensuring each version brought the solution closer to Power Remote’s business goals while staying deeply aligned with user needs.
